Selena Gomez is releasing a new album, and she hinted that it might drop sooner than expected. The singer/actress said that she is excited about her upcoming record since it has been almost four years since she released a song.
But then, her absence in the music scene is understandable since she went through a lot in recent years. It has been widely reported that she had health issues and admitted for rehab at some points due to her mental health issues as well. Now that she has returned, Selena is hoping that her recovery will continue to be better from this point on.
In any case, Selena Gomez appeared on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” and it was there that she revealed about her album release. She disclosed that it is already in the finishing stage, suggesting that it will be launched sooner.
"I'm actually done," she told the Fallon two weeks ago. "I have to do a few finishing things with it, but I'm just relieved. It took me four years now to even feel at a good place with this album."
Apart from her music comeback, Selena Gomez also relaunched her acting career through the movie “The Dead Don't Die.” it already premiered on June 10, and so far the reception is good.
Meanwhile, Selena’s ex, Justin Bieber also started to release new songs. He collaborated with Chris Brown in the “Don’t Check On Me” track that was dropped on June 25.
According to Hollywood Life, when Chris Brown promoted the song via his social media and Bieber did the same. He put the hashtag #DontCheckOnMe and shared a cryptic message where he said: “I had some things to say.”
Fans and haters are convinced that this is about Selena Gomez, but of course, only Justin Bieber knows the truth. In his post, some people commented: “Focus on your wifey and leave Selena alone once and for all. Don’t mention her not even if it’s to defend her.” While another one said, “Love your music, but this one is a no-no. Dissing your ex, dude, grow up! You're married already, let it go.”
