“Riverdale” season 4 is highly anticipated due to the last season’s cliffhanger finale that is hard to shake off. This is because one of the main characters was missing, and with how the ending scene was presented, it made the viewers think that Jughead died. Is Cole Sprouse really leaving the show as suggested?
Fans are really desperate to know what happened to Jughead Jones and “Riverdale” season 4 will give the answer to this burning question. However, the upcoming season may not pick up from the part where Archie Andrews, Betty, and Veronica were burning Jughead’s beanie since the scene was a fast-forward incident. Most likely, what happened to them before it arrived in that situation will be featured first.
“Riverdale” season 4 showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa revealed that they have not really decided yet on Jughead’s fate. He said that they have some options about what to make out of the finale and it is yet to see what they had come up with.
“We have a couple of options on what happens on the other side of burning the beanie,”
Express quoted the showrunner as saying. “We certainly have started talking about the events leading up to that..which is going to happen halfway through the season.”
Meanwhile, “Riverdale” season 4 did not forget about Luke Perry who died while season 3 was airing. His death was untimely, and Aguirre-Sacasa said that they would give him proper farewell in the upcoming episodes. The actor played Fred Andrews, Archie’s dad, in the show and the debut episode will be a tribute to him.
“We want that episode to really honor the character of Fred and honestly, to honor the actor Luke and our friend Luke,” he said.
The CW announced that “Riverdale” season 4 is set to air on Oct. 9.
