Seeing characters and iconic objects from all over the multiverse revisit Rick and Morty at random occasions is common for Adult Swim’s very popular series. But one character, in particular, is not being shown that often — Rick’s wife. Will fans see more of her in “Rick and Morty” season 4?
One of the running storylines of the series is Beth’s fear that her father, Rick, might leave her again but it might not be that present in “Rick and Morty” season 4 thanks to a thing called character development. But that explained why she often favored Rick over her own husband, Jerry. Beyond that, however, there were very little details shown about Rick and Beth’s past where they are with Mrs. Sanchez.
ScreenRant suggested that Mrs. Sanchez’s reappearance could be one of the surprises of “Rick and Morty” season 4. The latest installment of the show seemed to highlight Rick and Beth’s dynamic as father and daughter. One episode even focused on Rick making an alternate reality for Beth where one of her friends was stuck forever. So the same report pointed out that Mrs. Sanchez’s arrival will be a welcome plot and would certainly open many possible twists.
Mrs. Sanchez has been repeatedly mentioned in the show, though, she never physically appeared in the show in any dimension or timeline. There is also very little known to where she is now and what happened to her. Even whether she is alive or dead is a mystery after all these years. And all the secrecy surrounding her character just makes it even more exciting to explore her identity in the much-awaited “Rick and Morty” season 4.
Meanwhile, the upcoming installment is slated to have up to 70 new episodes that were confirmed over a year ago. Unfortunately, Adult Swim has not yet announced a release date for “Rick and Morty” season 4, but many fans are hoping it happens in 2019.
