Ravi of VIXX and Girl’s Generation’s Taeyeon were revealed to be dating for a year already. However, after the news broke out on Dec. 27, both parties denied the rumor through their respective agencies, GROOVL1N and SM Entertainment, respectively.

But then again, after Ravi and Taeyeon’s denial, a YouTuber who claimed to be a reporter released a video where she revealed the two enjoyed 3 days and 2 nights date starting on Christmas day. Reporter Lee Ye Ji also included clips to back up her claims.

The reported 55-hour date of Ravi and Taeyeon

Reporter Lee said that she was the writer of the article that appeared on Joy News24 that broke the dating news of the VIXX and Girls Generation member. She said that while the two denied they are in a relationship, she can confirm that they have been dating for a while now and showed clips of their Christmas date.

Lee said that the pair started dating last year and she learned about their relationship in October. She alleged that she got the inside info directly from Ravi and Taeyeon’s close friend.

In her 4 minutes and 28 seconds video, Lee explained that since the two idols are popular and would be recognized anywhere, they can’t go on dates in public places thus they usually spend time together in their own homes when their schedules allow them.

Clips Following this, she claimed that starting on Christmas Day, December 25 to December 27, the two had a long date at their homes. Since they are celebrities, they can’t freely go out for dates, so they had it at their homes and would make time to meet outside their busy schedules

Lee suggested Ravi and Taeyeon are really dating and in the footage that she released, Ravi could be seen picking up the SNSD member from her apartment and they went to the VIXX’s member’s home. The reporter said that they two never left the house until the next day, Dec. 26, then they head back to Taeyeon’s home around 1 p.m. and stayed there until the next day again which is Dec. 27, the day when their dating news made the headlines.

The fans are furious over Lee’s videos of Ravi and Taeyeon

Lee and her team continued to follow Ravi and Taeyeon even after the latter’s apartment implemented a stricter rule, limiting the coming and going of cars to just the residents. Her team later caught Ravi coming out from Trimage apartment where Taeyeon lives and was picked up by a van. The idol was dropped in front of his agency, GROOVL1N and that was the end of his date.

Now, the Korea Times reported that rather than feel grateful for the breaking news of Ravi and Taeyeon’s dating, fans were furious because the reporter followed them everywhere and invading their privacy.

Fans commented that what the reporter did was stalking and they think it is punishable by law. She also took videos secretly and that’s a violation of their privacy. However, entertainment lawyer Kang Jin Seok, told the Korea Times that reporter Lee is not likely to face criminal charges since there is no law about this in the country yet.

"Korea does not have a criminal law punishing someone for secretly taking a video unless the content is sexually humiliating," the lawyer said. "But the singers can file a civil complaint against the reporter for allegedly intruding on their privacy.
