“Prison Break” season 6 has been confirmed to return after two years of hiatus. This means that Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller are coming back on the small screen to continue the tale two brothers where one was falsely framed for murder, and one tries to save the other.
Now, a few months after Michael Thorn, FOX’s president of entertainment, announced during the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour that “Prison Break” season 6 is in development, filming had officially begun in November 2018, and this info was shared by Dominic Purcell via social media. On his Instagram, he posted a picture of himself while on the set filming the series.
In his post, he also said that “Prison Break” season 6 has no release date yet, but they will surely announce it, so fans just have to wait and refrain from asking “When?” for now. As for what to expect in the upcoming installment, Wentworth Miller shared that there will be lots of changes in the plot and his character, Michael Scofield, may start a new life with his wife and child. He may also begin working for the CIA, but the fate of his brother Lincoln Burrows may be more complicated.
Meanwhile, the popularity of “Prison Break” was proven when it was adapted for manga novel. As per HypeBeast, the show has a manga version now, and it was drawn by illustrator Hikosuke Soyama. Twentieth Century Fox Film is also involved in the making of this Japanese novel adaptation as it provides guidance to the illustrator.
The manga feature Michael Scofield’s plan to save his brother Lincoln from capital punishment. As of now, the episode 1 “Prison Break” manga was already released via Piccoma. The good news is that it is free for fans to read.
