On Netflix, one of the drama’s that people want to see again is “Ozark,” thus they are hoping that season 4 would be renewed soon. The American streaming service provider has not yet ordered the next episodes, but with the strong viewership ratings, many are certain that it will be coming back.
Series’ awaiting for renewal
The third season of the drama was dropped in March, and there were 10 episodes in all. It has been three months since it was released, so even if Netflix is not yet announcing anything about “Ozark” season 4, this time gap is not yet considered late for a drama renewal. In fact, there are even series that have to wait for a year or more before it can be confirmed.
This is to say that “Ozark” season 4 may be announced any time now since Netflix cannot pull out a show that has a good number of followers and ratings. As proof, Deadline reported that the show has always ranked high on the ratings, so new episodes are surely coming up.
It was also revealed that the team behind the production of “Ozark” season 4 is already working in advance. They have plans already, and decisions as to the direction of the story that they should take were discussed as well.
Theory to know about before the new season premiere
Theories are popular among people who follow a certain series. Since they can understand the story, they can guess where the story is heading. Fans could be wrong, but many times, they guessed it right.
In the case of “Ozark” season 4, one theory that was suggested that Ben, Wendy’s brother, is actually alive and doing well. They theorized that when a hitman was hired to take him down, rather than killing, that man named Nelson, actually saved Ben.
As mentioned on Express, Nelson made it look like that he killed Ben but he did not bring his body to Marty’s funeral home to be cremated. Instead, the wild theory suggests that Nelson brought Ben to the FBI so he can be trained.
On Reddit, the fan further said that Nelson is an undercover working for the FBI. He thinks that Ben can be a big help in their quest to catch the cartels and money launderers so Wendy’s brother was trained to be an agent.
At any rate, “Ozark” season 4 does not have a release date yet but based on predictions, it may return in 2022. This is because filming is expected to begin in 2021.
