“Ozark” season 3 will be here soon and more and more spoilers are coming out. The drama has been on hiatus for a long time so the viewers are extra excited for its return to Netflix.
While “Ozark” season 3 is has yet to arrive, it was reported that the next two seasons were already confirmed. This means that fans can look forward to the fourth and fifth installments because that was the plan for the start. It was said that they could even go as far as season 7 so there is more to be excited about the drama.
"We've always talked about it as five seasons,” the showrunner Chris Mundy told The Hollywood Reporter. “It could be four, it could be seven but that always seemed like a good number to us.”

As posted on Netflix Life, the synopsis of “Ozark” season 3 reads: “It’s six months later, the casino is up and running, but Marty and Wendy are fighting for control of the family’s destiny. Marty preaches keeping the status quo.”
Additionally, “Aided by an alliance with Helen and drug cartel leader Omar Navarro, Wendy plots for expansion. But when Wendy’s brother Ben comes into town, everyone’s lives are thrown into chaos.”
In the official trailer that was dropped by Netflix on March 5, it was further revealed that the Byrde family will work together to save their family and their money laundering business. The teaser showed the Byrdes back in business and the stakes are even higher this time so they can’t make a mistake again.
Who will be in it?
Jason Bateman who is also the drama’s producer and director will resume his role as Marty Byrde while Laura Linney (Wendy) will return as his wife. Their children in the series that include Sophia Hublitz (Charlotte) and Skylar Gaertner (Jonah) are still part of the show as well as Julia Garner (Ruth Langmore), Jessica Frances Dukes and Tom Pelphrey. Madison Thompson has been added to the cast line up as (Erin), Helen’s teenage daughter.
“Ozark” season 3 was scheduled to return on March 27 on Netflix.
