‘One Piece’ episode 904 release date, spoilers: Luffy encounters Holdem; Beasts headliner Speed appears

One of the first major encounters between Luffy and members of the Beasts Pirates is happening in “One Piece” episode 904. Meanwhile, another headliner of the Beasts Pirates named Speed will also likely be introduced soon.

‘One Piece’ episode 904 spoilers: Who are Holdem and Speed?

Anime fans already saw Holdem while based on the events in the manga, the introduction of Speed could be happening as soon as in “One Piece” episode 904. Both these characters are some of the several Headliners in Kaido’s crew. Headliners are, technically, in the third line of the chain of command. This means that they should not be underestimated because they are some of Kaido’s most trusted crew members.

The previous episode showed how Luffy defeated Urashima in an interesting sumo wrestling match before another fight ensued involving other loyalists of the Beasts Pirates. “One Piece” episode 904 will likely begin with Luffy, Zoro, and Kiku fighting more of Kaido’s men as the Straw Hat captain screams they should call on the boss of the town, which is Holdem.

The commotion will be halted once Holdem shows up with Tama being carried through the teeth of the lion on his belly. Holdem confronts Luffy for destroying his house because that was where Urashima landed from his Gear Third attack. Meanwhile, “One Piece” episode 904 could also show Trafalgar Law and the Hearts Pirates watching from a distance.

Holdem is hell-bent on learning how Tama’s devil fruit works. That means he will not give Tama back to Luffy in “One Piece” episode 904, and a fight between these two will certainly take place in the future episodes. Depending on the events that the anime will cover this week, fans could also get a glimpse of the centaur-looking Speed who arrives in Bakura at the time Holdem, and Luffy meet.

Anime fans may have noticed that some of the fight scenes are being dragged longer than usual. It should be noted that there are only over 50 manga chapters between where the anime is and the latest events in the Wano arc. So this is a better way to avoid the two series getting too close to each other instead of having more filler episodes. “One Piece” episode 904 will be released on Sept. 29.
