“One Piece” chapter 978 will be a mindblowing episode as the raid in Onigashma led by Kinemon and Luffy will finally take place. This is probably the highlight in the Wano Country Arc since all the villains and protagonists will gather in one place to fight in the battle of the century.
The alliance groups of Luffy and Kaido brought everyone in and it is exciting to see who will emerge as the victor. Will it be Luffy’s group against Kaido, Orochi and Big Mom?

In any case, the main goal of Luffy in “One Piece” chapter 978 is to collect Kaido’s head and free up Wano so it is a good thing that he got some good backup. Law, Kid, Kinemon and Jinbei are on his side but they still need to be careful though since Kaido has major support too.
As can be seen in “One Piece” chapter 977, Jinbei showed up and everyone was shocked by his arrival. With his help, the Straw Hats was able to sink some of their enemies’ ships and this is a big feat already.

Kinemon and Law devised a surprise attack so they can catch Kaido off-guard. This will also allow them to do major damage in Kaido’s lair thus it seems to be a great plan. Based on the strategy, Luffy will attack from the front side of the Torii fortress and the others are stationed on exit points around the island.
However, it appears that there will be some problem as the Flying Six has arrived on the island as per Straw Hat Manga. The group already revealed X Drake and Page One and it was mentioned that there are two beautiful women as well. One is called Black Maria and the others have yet to be revealed in “One Piece” chapter 978.
Release date
“One Piece” chapter 978 has been delayed for about two weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Anime Freak reported that Shonen Jump, the publisher of the manga took a short break for the safety of the staff. In any case, it will return on April 26 with the raw scans coming out on April 23.
