In the manga’s timeline, there are only a few days left before Luffy and the Kozuki clan supporters launch the final battle against Kaido and Orochi to reclaim the freedom of Wano. However, the protagonists are going to face a few hiccups in “One Piece” chapter 950 while some good things are bound to happen, too.

‘One Piece’ chapter 950 spoilers: Luffy finally wins over the prisoners’ loyalty and trust

Manga fans saw intense fight scenes within Udon prison in the latest chapters, the biggest one being in chapter 949. The prisoners, mostly composed of rebels against Orochi, was forced to obey the Beasts Pirates out of fear and for not believing there is any chance to be genuinely free again. But that will change in “One Piece” chapter 950.

Luffy managed to make the prisoners believe there is a glimmer of hope in chapter 949. However, “One Piece” chapter 950 spoilers (via OroJackson’s EtenBoy) indicate that the prisoners will once again question Luffy’s intentions after finding out he is also a pirate. But that will immediately subside once the prisoners see Momonosuke alive and safe. It can be recalled that Momo was convinced by Tama to sneak into the prison in chapter 947. Seeing Momo also convinces the prisoners to believe in the return of the Nine Red Scabbards, reigniting their desire to reclaim their freedom from the Beasts Pirates.

Unfortunately, Kid decides differently in “One Piece” chapter 950. Despite seeing how Luffy and the others heroically defeated the Beasts Pirates, he will reject Luffy’s offers of fighting together against Orochi and Kaido. Kid just wants to focus on being reunited will his crewmates and leaves the prison with Killer.

‘One Piece’ chapter 950 plot, release date: Chapter closes by foreshadowing Law vs. Hawkins part 2

Earlier in the Wano arc, manga fans saw Law and Hawkins fight. However, it ended rather abruptly and was not packed with much action than some have anticipated considering how powerful these two characters are. It appears that as the final battle draws closer, fans could see them fight again as Hawkins captures Law in “One Piece” chapter 950.

Law becomes a prisoner of Hawkins and the latter tries to squeeze information out of Luffy’s loyal ally. Law is not the type to betray the alliance, so when Hawkins forces him to let out some details Law gives him a “fearless smile,” and this is how the chapter will end. “One Piece” chapter 950 will be released on Monday, July 29.
