After reading the previous chapter, many fans of the “One Piece” franchise are left crying at the fate suffered by what was previously an inconsequential character. When Tonoyasu was first introduced, many thought that he would play a role in the Wano arc. Little did readers know that he would be the one to spark the rebellion and give the alliance a chance to fight back. In “One Piece” Chapter 943, will Oda prove once again that the readers know absolutely nothing about his creation?
The manga is going on yet another break, OtakuKart reports, which is a disappointment to a lot of fans. However, with so many twists and turns already being put out there, it only makes sense that the author would need more time to flesh out the plot. From “One Piece” Chapter 943 onward, the characters will need to make a decision of how to best use the opportunities that Yasu gave them. It will also need to deal with the truth about what SMILE does to people.
While the gap between chapters might have dampened the impact of Yasu’s death, a bit, it does not take away the implications of his challenge to Orochi. He basically painted the shogun as a coward, called Kaido as an invader, and declared the previous ruler Oden as his only lord. He reminded the people of Wano of who they were and “One Piece” Chapter 943 is likely to build on that.
From there, it’s just a matter of combining the right circumstances. These include the presence of the Straw Hats, the samurai that are still loyal to Oden, and the anger that the people feel over Yasu’s death. With these factors in mind, it might just be possible for Wano to finally be free of the tyranny that Kaido and his goons have placed it under. It begins with “One Piece” Chapter 943 releasing on May 20.
