Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have been married for 14 years and throughout their marriage, there were many allegations stating they are going for a divorce. The reasons given range from their work schedules to their choice of residence and cheating.
How Taylor allegedly upset Nicole
In fact, last year, it was reported that Nicole Kidman resented Taylor Swift after intense jealousy kicks in. As per Australia’s Woman’s Day, the “Moulin Rouge” actress was so jealous of the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer after her husband Keith Urban covered the songstress’ “Lover” single.
The country singer expressed his extreme admiration for the song and he tweeted about it. His flattering post earned a sweet reply from Taylor Swift and this is allegedly where the problem with Nicole Kidman started.
“Every now and then you hear a song that you love and wish you’d written and a HUGE thanks to my band as well,” Keith wrote on Twitter. “We didn’t get to rehearse so this is us fully winging it - KU.”
He also added the hashtag #Lover and tagged Taylor Swift. In return, the then 29-year-old singer replied, “My heart exploded into confetti hearts. Thank You.”
It was alleged that after this exchange on social media, Nicole Kidman reacted negatively and expressed her wish for Taylor Swift to stay away from her husband. Based on the report, Woman’s Day claimed the actress really panicked with the interaction because the singer is beautiful.
"Everyone is talking about how much Taylor looks like Nicole in her youth and it's freaking Nic out,” the so-called source told WD.
The prospect of Keith and Taylor working together for a future collaboration also freaks Nicole out as per the source. "What if Taylor and Keith start making music together and he falls for her? What if they connect over more than music?" the tipster revealed this was what the actress was thinking.
The truth
The story is not true as per Gossip Cop. The publication reached out to Nicole Kidman’s rep and was immediately told the report is totally false. It was just Keith’s admiration for Taylor’s music and there’s nothing more so there is really no basis for the actress to be jealous.
