The New Orleans Pelicans agreed on a three-year extension of their jersey patch partnership with Ibotta for the 2022/23 season.
The renewed partnership between the NBA team includes a variety of marketing and community initiatives, such as another Thanksgiving meal giveaway, Ibotta branding inventory at the Smoothie King Center, and digital media assets.
Ibotta, a free cashback rewards platform, will keep providing Pelicans supporters with cashback possibilities on everyday items and team merchandise when they utilize the platform.
Additionally, both companies will keep collaborating with neighborhood social outreach initiatives to provide over 100 New Orleans area families with free Thanksgiving dinners and exclusive team gear.
Ibotta's founder and CEO, Bryan Leach, remarked that their association with the Pelicans enables them to increase their visibility among the millions of NBA fans who want to save money on their regular purchases.
