NBA Hall of Fame player Tracy McGrady may be ending his 25-year relationship with sneaker giant Adidas due to what he feels is an unsatisfactory treatment he received.
Boardroom describes the business relationship between McGrady and Adidas as “rocky” and may be coming to an end.
Adidas, who is also in the crosshairs of Kanye West, has been dealing with McGrady since before he even started his legendary career.
McGrady, also known as T-Mac, complained that he deserved better treatment than what he's gotten from Adidas over the last ten years.
Adidas produced six of T-Mac's signature models throughout his career. Although he retired in 2013, he continued to renew his contract with the athletic wear manufacturer, signing numerous shoe deal extensions.
McGrady hasn't felt the love from Adidas in the last ten years.
At T-one-on-one Mac's basketball competition, the Ones Basketball League (OBL), McGrady complained that Adidas had not given him the support he had hoped for.
