Japanese label Mountain Research is highlighting the Beatnik in its collaboration with Reebok, likening the style to their early 2000s hiking boots.
Slated to hit shelves on September 5, the latest Beatnik has seen numerous overhauls, taking on Primaloft, hairy suedes, and sustainable fabrics.
The upper is built of a thick, brown-colored leather; and across the shoe’s side, Mountain Research has embroidered a flame with white and yellow thread.
In addition, Mountain Research’s logo replaces Reebok’s along the adjacent hardware. Complete with ripple soles and grosgrain straps, the Mountain Research x Reebok Beatnik is set to release at select retailers and likely Reebok.com.
