In an age where information has become as easily accessible as typing up a few things on Google, one would think that tabloid gossips could avoid making embarrassing mistakes. However, this was recently the case with a new Miranda Lambert rumor suggesting a wedding with Evan Felker. This is despite the fact that their split was already announced after Felker supposedly broke some rules.
This latest round of mistaken tabloid claims was committed by Life & Style, which recently published a story that Miranda Lambert was pregnant and was going to get married to Evan Felker. As Gossip Cop points out, this is wrong in so many ways. For starters, the country singer is neither pregnant nor does she have any plans to marry.
All of this nonsense supposedly came from an inside source that the tabloid publication had access to. However, if this was really the case, it would have been quite apparent that the story they were going to publish would never fly. After all, wouldn’t the insider have told them that Miranda Lambert would be dumping her boyfriend? Wouldn’t that be the bigger news to focus on instead of some imagined shotgun wedding?
As to why the couple even broke up, PEOPLE reports that it was supposedly because Evan Felker broke rules set down by Miranda Lambert. This came from a source, which indicated that Felker committed acts that he knew would not be approved.
“I don’t think it was a dramatic split, but he knew what he was ‘allowed’ to do based on her rules and he broke them,” the source told the publication. “He did something that he knew she wasn’t going to approve of, she assumed he did it and he didn’t deny it.”
As was the case with the pregnancy/wedding gossip, there is currently no proof that Miranda Lambert split up with Evan Felker over such a reason. However, it’s at least more plausible than the claims made at the start of this piece.
