McDonald’s Singapore just introduced something new before the new year arrives. The fast-food chain offered the mala-flavored McShaker fries last year, and this year, it is bringing in a new fries flavor which is the Peri Peri.
The limited-edition Peri Peri McShaker fries have a strong flavor since the seasoning is composed of strong savory spices, including paprika, parsley flakes, and other herbs and spices. This is McDonald’s Singapore’s latest menu addition that can already be enjoyed before New Year’s Eve.
The new Peri Peri McShaker fries at McDonald’s Singapore features the restaurant’s famous fries, and they are tossed in the McShaker bags with the special flavor to coat each fries with the seasoning. The taste is said to be a combination of citrus and spice.
The citrusy flavor is a given since the traditional peri peri saice is commonly made with vinegar and lemon. As per SG’s Mothership, the new McShaker fries is on the menu list with a starting price of S$3.50 (a la carte). Customers can also have them as an add-on to any Extra Value Meal and they only need to add S$0.80.
McDonald’s Singapore started selling the Peri Peri McShaker fries on Dec. 30 but it was not mentioned until when it will be available in the restaurants. Customers are excited for this new flavor as they have already tasted other McDonald’s special fries flavors including the mala, pizza, seaweed, and more.
At any rate, McDonald’s Singapore said the new Peri Peri fries is just the perfect side to go with McSpicy. Customers can get this sandwich with the limited edition fries and a beverage for just S$8.50.
Another recommendation is to avail of the 2X Value Meal deal at McDonald’s Singapore branches for only S$17.70. For this price, a customer can get two sets of value meals consisting of McSpicy, large Peri Peri McShaker Fries, and a medium-sized Coke.
Meanwhile, GoodyFeed reported that the McCrispy may not be available in some McDonald’s stores in Singapore. It was especially mentioned that the sandwich is not offered at McDonald’s Shell Tampines, McDonald’s Clementi Ave 3, McDonald’s Shell Havelock, McDonald’s Tampines Kiosk, and McDonald’s Parklane.
