McDonald’s Australia dropped a new McFlurry flavor, and the Crème Brulée Pie and these are out for testing. As of this time, these food items are available for a limited time only since they will be officially added to the menu after a successful test run.
As per News.com.au, McDonald’s Australia is offering new desserts at select restaurant outlets in the region. It was reported that more people learned about the Crème Brulée Pie and the new McFlurry flavor after a popular food blogger published a clip where he was able to try the new items even before the announcement since they are supposed to be released on Thursday, Feb. 17.
In any case, as shown in the TikTok post of the Sydney-based blogger, the new Crème Brulée Pie has the same crispy crust as McDonald’s traditional apple pie. Only the filling is different as it was made with caramel sauce and custard.
“With the two desserts I prefer the pie itself because I am just a huge fan of the pie,” Adrian Widjonarko said in the clip. “However in saying that, the McFlurry has extra caramel on top of the broken pies, so that’s a great addition of flavor to my McFlurry.”
The food blogger’s review of the Crème Brulée Pie and the McFlurry was overall good. He said everyone should really try both desserts, but people should do it fast since they will be taken off from the menu after the short period of testing.

At any rate, Brisbane’s 97.3 FM reported that both the Crème Brulée Pie and the McFlurry are only available in select stores of McDonald’s in Sydney. No other city will have the desserts unless the testing is expanded.
Meanwhile, if the new McFlurry is officially released, it will be McDonald’s Australia’s follow-up to its Tim Tam McFlurry flavor that was unveiled in November of last year. It featured biscuit pieces of Tim Tam on top of the restaurant’s signature soft-serve ice cream. The Cadbury’s Caramilk McFlurry was also introduced, and both flavors were hits among the customers.
