The first season of “Lost In Space” blew Netflix users away with the quality of the show’s story, pacing, and visual effects. It’s safe to say, therefore, that “Lost In Space” Season 2 is going to be a major hit, as well. However, there are still a lot of mysteries surrounding the upcoming episodes, especially with regards to the new galaxy that the Robinsons family was thrown in.
As ScreenRant recently reported, the production for “Lost In Space” Season 2 is well underway and is even expected to end this month. With this being the case, it’s quite possible for the show to return this year, which should be great news for the fans. On that note, this doesn’t answer what fans can expect from the upcoming season.
With details about “Lost In Space” Season 2 being so scarce, fans and publications are left to their own devices to come up with plausible predictions with regards to the developments in the season. For example, since the Robinsons family were sent to another galaxy, it’s likely that there will be some new planets and lifeforms waiting for them.
In accordance with the oldest of sci-fi laws, there will also be some new threats, likely in the form of the same robots that attacked the Resolute mothership in the first season. While this will be cool, it would be great if “Lost In Space” Season 2 also featured new alien dangers for the survivors to fight against. More visual delights would be welcome, as well.
For the most part, however, “Lost In Space” Season 2 will likely involve the family trying to get back to their own galaxy in one piece. Whether or not this is going to be the case will be the question that the show will need to answer when it finally premiere, whenever that will be.
