Silicon Valley, California, Jan. 02, 2018 -- Darkstore.com launches hosted shopping cart solution, making same-day delivery possible for e-commerce websites through one line of code. This is the latest development in logistics and order fulfillment implemented by founder and CEO of darkstore.com, Lee Hnetinka, who opened his darkstore.com solution based in San Francisco, California in May 2016 as a solution for e-commerce websites who wanted to offer their customers on-demand order fulfillment.
Now, any e-commerce website can copy and paste Darkstore's one line of code on their website and offer same-day or two-day delivery of merchandise to their customers. The code has made it simple for e-commerce stores to offer this on-demand option.
Darkstore.com boasts fulfillment centers in over 40 cities around the United States and has partnered with companies such as T-Force Final Mile, Deliv and UberRUSH to expand their reach and be able to offer their services in more locations across the country.
The concept is that e-commerce stores that do not have local delivery services can store their products in a Darkstore location for shipment and same-day delivery in that area. Using Darkstore's one line of code the customer will see a banner at the top of the website that offers on-demand delivery services and when they click on that banner they will be taken to the Darkstore.com website where they will find the products that the e-commerce site offers for same day or two-day delivery.
Darkstore's customer base includes the mattress store startup Tuft & Needle, the premier headphone company Master and Dynamic and sofa retailer Burrow.
The company has also reached some of its financial goals as well. Since it started in May 2016, the company has raised over $1.5 million in funding.
The goal of Darkstore's one line of code is to enable any retailer to offer same-day delivery to anyone without having to invest in more fulfillment centers. Darkstore is in 40 cities around the country including Phoenix, Seattle, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. With this wide network of centers, Darkstore is able to offer same-day and two-day deliveries.
