KEMP, Texas, March 20, 2018 -- Industrial lighting leader Larson Electronics LLC announced the release of a 10 watt vapor proof LED fixture built for rugged environments and wet locations, that features a colored LED bulb available in five colors. This LED light is dimmable and offered in wall, pendant or box mounts, ideal for outdoor and commercial spaces such as lobbies, industrial parks, airports and more.
The VPL-MJ-10W-LED-C-WCM from Larson Electronics is rugged colored LED vapor proof light that supports dimming functionality and an A19 LED upgrade from standard bulbs, that fits a E26 bulb socket. A19 bulbs offer greater efficiency than traditional bulbs with more durability and longevity. This vapor proof LED is offered in five output colors: red, amber, green, blue and white, allowing operators to choose a color that best suits their application. The dimmable functionality allows users to control light output for ambiance, increased clarity during detail projects and inspections, and energy savings.
The 10 watt vapor proof LED is protected inside a clear glass globe lens and a powder coated die cast aluminum cage. The lamp is IP65 rated for wet locations, and resistant to the effect of impact and vibration, allowing the unit to survive in rough conditions. The lamp is an ideal replacement for 100 to 150 watt incandescent fixtures, producing almost 20% more light at five feet than a standard 100 watt bulb. The VPL-MJ-10W-LED-C-WCM can be mounted in a variety of ways. Box, pendant and wall mounting options are available for flexible positioning.
“The VPL-MJ-10W-LED-C-WCM is a really reliable and durable, high-output fixture,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “It features an energy efficient A19 bulb, which, when paired with dimming, makes this fixture an ideal replacement for incandescents in wet locations.”
