Hyundai Motor Co. on Tuesday unveiled the Avante N model, its first sedan under the high-performance N brand, as it strives to strengthen its high-end product lineup.
The carmakers would release the prices and other details later.
The sporty sedan has side skirts that minimize the air that goes under the car from the sides and a wing-type spoiler that reduces sound and air resistance.
Hyundai is also considering offering an electrified model under the N brand.
The lineup currently consists of the i30 N, i30 Fastback N, Kona N SUV, Veloster N.
Hyundai also offers the N Line models, which sit between Hyundai's high-performance N brand and the general Hyundai brand, consisting of the Avante N Line, Kona N Line, and Sonata N Line models.
The N models bring full performance capability to daily driving, while the N Line brings performance-inspired elements to base model vehicles.
