It seems everything is all right in Kylie Jenner’s growing business empire.
Multiple reports are saying that the reality star appears to have settled her squabble with makeup artist Vlada Taggerty following the latter’s copyright infringement accusations. OK! Magazine said Taggerty threatened legal action after Jenner posted photos similar to the makeup artist’s work.
Taggerty claimed Jenner had a “history of taking Haggerty's original dripping lip art and passing it off as Kylie’s.” She was particularly livid about the visual art featuring a woman covering her eyes with her sparkly gold-sprayed fingers and sporting gradient colored glossy lips. Jenner also had a similar image but swapped it with matte gold fingers and matte red lips.
TMZ noted that both Jenner and Taggerty had taken to Instagram, the very platform that caused the online rife, to make amends. On Jenner’s account, she had nothing but praises for the LA resident, and even tagged her along with the supposedly copied material.
Taggerty, on the other hand, confirmed this as well and said in her post, “I'm so glad I can finally say that this issue has been resolved and I can move on. Thank you again everyone, your love and supportive comments mean the world to me.”
Meanwhile, Jenner also unveiled her recent makeup collection for Valentine’s Day on Snapchat. Buzzfeed reported that the makeup collection featured theme packaging, three new matte colors, two new lip kits, and three mini makeup bundles. Fans were also delighted when Jenner did a sneak peek about her highly-anticipated Kylie’s Diary, which included a new blush palette. The collection drops on February 2 at 6PM ET.
