‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star Rob Kardashian was recently rushed to the emergency room for symptoms of type 2 diabetes, which he was diagnosed with last year.
According to People.Com, Rob Kardashian was rushed to the emergency room for type 2 diabetes-related symptoms as revealed by an insider. He was hospitalized last December 28 in West Hills Hospital in Los Angeles near his home in Calabasas.
The insider revealed, “Rob has made some changes to his lifestyle, but all the latest drama with [Blac] Chyna has made him depressed… And he has been on a terrible diet.” It was reported that Rob hasn’t been taking care of himself lately, which caused his symptoms to flare up.
Rob’s mother Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble were spotted arriving at the hospital shortly afterwards. Rob’s fiancée Blac Chyna was also spotted arriving separately thereafter without their daughter Dream Renee Kardashian.
According to US Magazine, Rob has since checked out of the hospital since his diabetic attack. A source revealed, "He's been so stressed out so [he's] not taking care of himself or eating right… Stress affects his diabetes."
The 29-year old television personality and businessman was also hospitalized last December 2015 and was subsequently diagnosed with the long-term metabolic disorder after undergoing a series of tests. Rob admitted that his diagnosis was a wake-up call and said, "I had found out I had type 2 diabetes six months before, but I stopped taking my insulin… I didn't enjoy the routine."
According to the Daily Mail, Rob vowed to get healthy following his diabetes diagnosis. When he started dating Chyna in early 2016, he followed a strict diet and exercise routine with her help. However, he eventually gained back all the lost weight when she became pregnant with their first child.
The two also got into a public feud recently but reconciled. Earlier this month, Rob revealed on Snapchat that Chyna left him taking baby Dream with her. He said in one video, "So I get home, and Chyna took the baby, took the whole nursery we built. And Chyna took everything that we built for the nursery for the baby, Dream, and she left, and she just left me alone and took the baby… I'm pretty upset, and I'm pretty sad because it's about to be Christmas, and I want to be with my baby."
‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ season 13 is currently in production and expected to return on E!
