For years, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have denied that they are a couple and has time and again went out of their way to make sure that their public outings remain a secret. That all changed during the Met Gala 2019 when the unofficial pair attended the event with matching outfits.
So what does this all mean? Well, it appears that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have finally confirmed to their fans that they’re a couple. However, it seems that this will not change the dating pattern of the duo in the coming months and will apparently remain low key when going out in public, E! reported.
"They are feeling more comfortable about being out in public together and not having to hide. They still don't want to have a public relationship, but it was a lot of effort to keep things under wraps and never be able to go out together,” a supposed source told the publication. The tipster added that through this shift, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx feels freer as the burden of secrecy has been lifted. Not that any of it was a secret in recent years.
While the duo was quite reclusive during their early dating days, that has changed in the past six months where they were seen in multiple locations being romantic and doing usual couple stuff. For instance, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were seen kissing inside a yacht during their vacation in Miami this December.
In March this year, they were seen strolling Central Park before heading into the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And in April, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx went out with the actor’s eldest daughter, Corrine, 25, to grab some gelato in Los Angeles. It goes without saying that fans of the couple are ecstatic for the two as they’ve been waiting for this day for five and a half years. Now, their following is patiently waiting when the engagement will be, and ultimately, the nuptials.
