Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes recently shut down the rumors that they called it quits after unofficially dating for nearly six years. The recent outing of the two as they strolled through Central Park is evidence that the pair is still very much in love, Daily Mail reported.
The breakup rumors first started when Jamie Foxx allegedly said during an Oscars event that he’s single. A few weeks later, Fox News published a report that Katie Holmes’ current flame has been spotted with an unnamed woman as both exited Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills.
Until now, it’s still unclear who the woman is. But judging by the recent outing of Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes, she’s likely a friend or an acquaintance of the actor. As for the duo finally acknowledging that they’re indeed a couple, both have yet to make such an announcement.
For more than five years, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have practiced an unorthodox style of dating that prioritized their respective lives more than the relationship they’re building. And so far, that formula has swimmingly worked for the pair.
What’s also noticeable about Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes’ relationship is that they’ve become more public with their romance. In the past, the paparazzi have difficulty snapping photos of the two due to their reclusive nature. In recent years, however, their public outings have increased significantly.
In December, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes were seen doing some PDA on a yacht in Miami. And prior to that, they were photographed having a grand time in Malibu beach and didn’t care that they’re surrounded with hundreds of other people.
This led some to assume that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes might be planning to announce that they’re indeed an official couple. But that has yet to take place and it’s unlikely that they’ll be doing such a thing in the near future given how well their current setup has worked for them until now.
