There have been plenty of unusual and even cruel Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx stories that have been published in the past, but the tabloid media really crossed a line recently. This came in the form of a piece that claimed that the “Batman Begins” actress was dumped on her birthday. What’s more, this was supposedly instead of the proposal that she was expecting.
This latest piece depicting a Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx fiasco was the handiwork of Life & Style, which recently published a ridiculous report with some truly astonishing details. The headline reads, “Katie DUMPED On Her 40th Birthday” and then proceeds to cite a supposed insider with knowledge of the matter. Suffice it to say, all of this is nonsense.
“Katie and Jamie are done. She really thought Jamie was going to propose for her birthday, but instead he dumped her,” the supposed source reportedly told the publication. “Jamie called Katie up and told her he needed space. He was pretty blunt.”
Putting aside the fact that this particular narrative is beyond absurd, there is plenty of evidence to prove that the claims are simply wrong. The Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx couple was seen in public celebrating the actress’ birthday and this is something that simply can’t be faked. What’s more there was absolutely no way that the “Django Unchained” star would break up with his girlfriend over the phone.
Once again, this Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx story suffers the same fate as so many others like it have done over the years in that it is an absolute fake of a report. When the representatives of the pair were contacted with regards to the details of the story, it was immediately made known that it was just trash. There was no dumping done and this is just another tabloid garbage spewed by unreliable outlets.
