Jungkook is truly an idol singer whose massive popularity worldwide is unmatched. He is world-renowned as part of BTS, and this became obvious once again when he recently set a new record on social media.
TikTok global new record
The youngest member in BTS was revealed to be the first and only singer worldwide to have exceeded 10 billion views on Tiktok. One of his most-followed fansites called Golden Jungkook shared with other fans via Twitter about the good news.
On June 21, the 22-year-old idol singer’s dedicated social media fansite wrote: “Jungkook is the first and only singer in the world to have ever surpassed 10 Billion views on his TikTok tag.” It went on to state that he is the only person who has achieved such a great milestone on the social networking service owned by ByteDance.
This is not the first time that Jungkook made history on social media. In fact, he is one of the celebrities in the world who always make a new record on Twitter and previously received the Instagrammer global award from MTV. his videos on YouTube also trends and viewed by millions of fans while his V Live sessions usually gain millions of likes as well.
On top of brand value rankings
In any case, Jungkook was also recognized by the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation again. In the organization’s latest brand value rankings for male idol singers in the Kpop scene, the BTS member placed third with 4,752,631 points.
As per Allkpop, the ranking was analyzed through data from dates May 18 to June 19. The office typically determines the rankings by checking out the idols’ community activities, media activities, communication, and so on. In this analysis, 630 idols were checked, and the results were revealed this month.
Jungkook may not have gotten the first place, but he is on top 3. Co-BTS member Jimin placed first with 6,806,289 points while EXO's Baekhyun snatched the second place with 6,137,838 points. It was cited that Baekhyun went up the rankings since his “Delight” second solo mini-album was released in the last week of May.
