When it comes to BTS, there is no doubt that the world has made its impressions of the group clear. The performers have become the single biggest moneymakers of their kind in South Korea, raking in billions of dollars per year. This is why it’s no surprise that the net worth of its stars, especially Jungkook is quite up there. On that note, considering how much money is coming in, one might think that the performers should be earning more.
It has been said that BTS was bringing in a staggering $3.6 billion into the South Korean economy per year, Seventeen reports. It can be difficult to more accurate numbers with regards to this aspect since the figures are often kept secret. However, it would be safe to say based on how fans are simply going nuts over Jungkook and BTS that there is a lot of enthusiasm for the group to succeed.
In the case of Jungkook himself, the performer has racked up quite the huge fandom thanks to his handsome face, child-like personality, and approachable attitude. This is why it is no surprise that a huge portion of ARMY goes crazy whenever he does something, even if that something is entirely normal when done by someone else.
So, what exactly has Jungkook gotten in return for all of his efforts? Some analysts have concluded that $8 million is what he is currently worth. That is a lot of money for a South Korean performer, but that figure is likely on the lower end of the scale compared to the real figures. This is just a conservative estimate, after all. When all is said and done, the BTS member is likely to be worth more.
On that point, Jungkook and the rest of the BTS should certainly get a bigger slice of the pie. While expenses and royalties can be a complicated issue, the main point is that the group is a huge moneymaker right now. As such, they deserve to get paid.
