A recent article published by Radar Online (via Gossip Cop) is claiming that Jennifer Garner is avoiding the noise caused by Ben Affleck’s relapse. The publication alleges that the “Alias” star is doing this by retreating to her farm in Oklahoma.
Of course, judging by how Jennifer Garner handled the recent incidents that took place, this narrative is way off the mark. Ben Affleck has always received massive support from her ex-partner even though they decided to part ways three years ago.
After Ben Affleck got back to drinking himself to a stupor following his breakup with Lindsay Shookus, Jennifer Garner was the one who picked up the pieces for the actor. If the “Elektra” actress didn’t want to be involved with her ex-partner’s recent relapse, then she wouldn’t have personally come to Affleck’s house and practically dragged him to a rehabilitation facility.
Jennifer Garner cares deeply for Ben Affleck as he’s the father of her three children. The actress even went so far as to delay their divorce proceedings as she wanted to give the “Batman” actor some time to work on his sobriety.
What’s more, Jennifer Garner is only visiting her home in Oklahoma, which she uses to grow food for her brand “Once Upon a Farm.” She isn’t hiding from all the commotion caused by Ben Affleck’s relapse, and why would she?
Jennifer Garner has already proven to the world that she can handle being a celebrity and all the negative consequences that come with it. For instance, during her interview with CBS, she revealed that the paparazzi were constantly outside her home for 10 years, both during her time with Ben Affleck and after they decided to separate.
In short, the noise of the media isn’t anything new to Jennifer Garner and it’s safe to say that she has now managed to ignore these trivial commotions. Besides, the actress’s integrity is one of the things that made her popular in the first place. And her being at Ben Affleck’s side after the actor found comfort in his addiction proves once again how resilient Garner is.
