“Jane The Virgin” Season 5 has a lot to wrap up in its plotline given that the previous finale ended with a major cliffhanger. Hardcore fans know that Michael (Brett Dier), who has been presumed dead until the third installment’s finale, has now returned to Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) life, The Daily Express reported.
The reveal was quite the shocker for fans since Michael has been declared deceased for years. One of the major questions being bounced around is that is it truly Michael that has returned? All signs seem to indicate that it is indeed the previously assumed dead officer. It will certainly be interesting to see how the writers explain in “Jane The Virgin” Season 5 how exactly did this character survived his death.
After all, the heart complication from his gunshot wounds that ultimately claimed his life occurred in a room full of people. Show creator Jennie Snyder Urman already confirmed that they’re not using a secret twin plot in order to explain this twist. After the announcement, fans turned to other theories that would unravel this mysterious development.
But what’s really interesting to see is who will Jane choose between Michael and Rafael (Justin Baldoni). Hardcore followers have been divided about this discussion, with some rooting for Michael while others are siding with Raf. “Jane The Virgin” Season 5 will certainly be a heart-wrenching story for the would-be writer as she’s going to breaking someone’s heart one way or the other.
Another question that’s also being asked by fans is that if Jane does decide to choose Rafael, will she be having a divorce to void his marriage with Michael? Those who have been rooting for Michael as Jane’s love are hoping writers would choose the officer since they have a lot of history together. There’s also the fact that Michael has time and again proven his love for Jane and her family. All these questions are exactly the reason why “Jane The Virgin” Season 5 is expected to pull in a lot of viewers.
