ATLANTA, Sept. 06, 2017 -- Izenda, a provider of a business intelligence (BI) and analytics platform purpose-built for embedding into business applications and portals, announced today that Gartner, the world's leading research and advisory company, identified Izenda as one of its Other Vendors to Consider for Modern BI and Analytics, in its August 2017 report.
According to Gartner, “The 2017 Magic Quadrant for BI and analytics platforms evaluation process identified 51 vendors that were not included in the Magic Quadrant but have forward-looking or specialized modern BI&A capabilities.”
“We’re honored that Gartner listed Izenda in its Other Vendors to Consider for Modern BI and Analytics report,” said Lee Nagel, vice president of marketing, Izenda. “With Izenda embedded in critical business applications, users can visually explore data and perform analytics in real-time from within the application or portal they use every day putting insight at the point of decision.”
Izenda delivers robust and intuitive self-service analytics including the ability for business users to create their own reports and dashboards using a drag and drop interface from within the application. Izenda’s code-free administrative interface aids application owners in easily configuring the analytics experience to meet the needs of different user roles. This helps maximize user adoption.
Regarding embedded BI, the Gartner report said, “The ability to rapidly embed analytics in both internal and customer-facing applications; create custom, web-based analytic applications; and embed third-party analytic content and visualizations are becoming increasingly important requirements.”
Recognitions from Industry Analysts
Forrester, one of the most influential research and advisory firms in the world, recognized Izenda as an embedded BI specialist in its recent report, The New Generation of Embedded BI Will Close the Insights-To-Action Gap.
These recognitions follow G2 Crowd, a leading business software review platform, naming Izenda a High Performer in its Summer 2017 Self-Service Business Intelligence Software Grid report.
Izenda was also recognized by leading embedded analytics consultants NextWaveBI. “When I first saw a demo of the Izenda platform… I couldn't believe they had that much functionality– functionality targeted directly at the needs of a data product builder–packed into the platform. They scale, they perform, and they get data products,” said Kevin Smith, founder/principal consultant of NextWaveBI.
