Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh created a meme that went viral after he photoshopped himself into one of Ivanka Trump’s Taj Mahal photos. Surprisingly, President Donald Trump’s daughter and senior political advisor retweeted Dosanjh’s post with a hilarious caption.
Ivanka Trump was a member of President Donald Trump’s delegation on his first state visit to India last week. During her stay in the South Asian country, the senior White House adviser updated her millions of social media followers by regularly posting various photos.
One of her posts shows her posing in front of the Taj Mahal, one of the most iconic landmarks in India. “The grandeur and beauty of the Taj Mahal is awe-inspiring,” she captioned the post.
But an edited version of the photo was soon making its round on social media. This time, Diljit Dosanjh photoshopped Ivanka’s Taj Mahal photo by inserting an image of himself in it.
“She was after me to take her to the Taj,” Dosanjh captioned the edited photo when he posted it on social media. “I took her, because what else could I do?”
The meme became popular on social media that it became viral. In fact, even Ivanka Trump spotted it and crafted her own hilarious response.
“Thank you for taking me to the spectacular Taj Mahal, @diljitdosanjh!” she captioned a retweet of Dosanjh’s post, BBC reported. “It was an experience I will never forget!”
Ivanka Trump also retweeted other memes people made from her Taj Mahal picture. “I appreciate the warmth of the Indian people. ...I made many new friends!!!” Ivanka wrote.
Dosanjh has an active social media presence and is often known for his humorous comments on the posts of other celebrities. For instance, he once tweeted Kanye West to ask for his Yeezy 350 Boost sneakers. However, it appeared that West might not have even read his request.
He is also known as a fan of the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, Kylie Jenner. He even created a long song titled “Do You Know” and dedicated it to the “KUWTK” star.
