Indian actor photoshopped himself into Ivanka Trump’s Taj Mahal photo because he couldn’t meet her personally

Ivanka Trump

Ivanka Trump recently went to India along with President Donald Trump on his first state visit to the South Asian country. The senior White House adviser even made waves when she posted photos of herself on social media showing the Taj Mahal as her background.

But a new hilarious photo is making its round on the net. The photo, which was also posted on social media, shows Ivanka along with one of India’s celebrities, singer/actor Diljit Dosanjh.

Ivanka Trump fans might notice that the snap looks a bit familiar. And it should, because it is actually one of the Taj Mahal photos that she posted earlier.

Apparently, Diljit Dosanjh photoshopped himself into the snap because he could not meet Ivanka Trump personally, according to NDTV. “Me and Ivanka. Piche hee pey aaee, kehndi Taj Mahal kana, Taj Mahal jana... Mai fer ley geya hor ki karda (She was after my life to take her to Taj Mahal. So I took her, what else could I have done)?” the Indian celebrity captioned his post.

Diljit is known for expressing his admiration for a few Hollywood stars on social media. For instance, he is known as a fan of the “Wonder Woman” actress Gal Gadot whose posts he regularly comments on. He also admitted having a crush on “Keeping up with the Kardashian” star Kylie Jenner, who recently made headlines for being Forbes’ youngest self-made billionaire.

Diljit is known for starring in a number of Bollywood films. He co-starred in “Phillauri” along with actress Anushka Sharma, worked with actress Taapsee Pannu in “Soorma,” and co-starred with actress Sonakshi Sinha in “Welcome to New York.” Aside from his acting career, Diljit also became a household name in India for his popular songs such as “Proper Patola,” “Do You Know,” and “Patiala Peg” among others.

However, Diljit might not be the only one who used photo-editing software on Ivanka’s picture. There are those who suspect that the White House senior adviser might have digitally edited one of her Taj Mahal photos before posting it on her social media account.

“Look closely at the gap between Ivanka’s left arm and torso, and you’ll see that the sliver of rippling water peeking through appears to be much more in focus than the water on either side of her,” Slate wrote. “The irregularity in definition led some of the Slate staff to suspect that someone had inserted or enlarged the gap in Ivanka’s picture, or otherwise messed around with the photo in some way, a thing many people do on Instagram to make themselves look thinner”
