Ivanka Trump wasn’t very visible during her father Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, and she reportedly wanted to be more involved at that time.
In the book “Kushner Inc.,” author Vicky Ward said that Ivanka was frustrated that she couldn’t do more for her dad’s campaign. However, since Ivanka was previously a Democrat, she couldn’t involve herself too much in the POTUS’s campaign, who is a Republican.
Ward also said that Ivanka’s commitment to her Jewish faith made it impossible for her to be involved in the POTUS’s campaign since the latter isn’t Jewish. Ivanka and her husband strictly observed the Sabbath, where they vow not to use technology for 24 hours every week.
“Every Friday night, people were calling Jared as the sun was going down,” the source said.
But even though Ivanka wasn’t very visible during her dad’s 2016 presidential campaign, the first daughter was still more visible than the POTUS’s wife, Melania Trump. The FLOTUS purposely stayed in New York with her son Barron while the POTUS was campaigning because it was in the middle of his school year.
After the POTUS got elected, Melania waited until after Barron’s school year was over before they moved to the White House. In her book “Free, Melania,” author Kate Bennett claimed that the FLOTUS waited for a few months before moving into the White House because she didn’t like the decorations.
Meanwhile, there are also some rumors suggesting that the FLOTUS doesn’t like in the White House with the POTUS. According to the Washington Post, Melania has been staying with her parents in the United States, and she only goes to the White House when there are engagements.
However, the FLOTUS’s communications director denied the claims by saying that it is 100 percent false.
“We laugh at it all the time,” she said.
White House social secretary Rickie Niceta Lloyd called the rumor an urban legend.
