Los Angeles, CA, April 19, 2018 -- SAE Institute, a global leader in creative media education, has partnered with the International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA) once again to host IMSTA FESTA at its Los Angeles campus located at 6700 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 11:00AM – 6:00PM.
IMSTA FESTA is a celebration of music technology that is free to attend and open to the public. The event attracts music makers of all levels and genres, and it offers attendees the opportunity to network with other artists, participate in workshops and panels, and see the latest music technology from some of the largest brands in the industry.
The afternoon will commence with the keynote address delivered by GRAMMY®-winning songwriter James Fauntleroy II. Best known for songwriting for Rihanna and Justin Timberlake, Fauntleroy earned a GRAMMY® for Best R&B song as co-writer of Timberlake’s “Pusher Love Girl” in 2016.
Following the keynote will be masterclasses presented by Native Instruments, FabFilter, PreSonus, and more, in addition to a final panel hosted by iStandard Producers discussing the music business, equipment, and career networking advice. Throughout the event, product specialists from Akai, Avid, Serato, Focusrite, and many more will demonstrate their latest products and meet with those in attendance to answer questions and offer user tips and tricks.
“IMSTA FESTA is an event we look forward to each year as it showcases many new trends and products in the music industry,” says Melissa Robertson, Campus Director at SAE Institute Los Angeles. “This event provides a platform for our students to build their network of industry professionals while becoming educated with new tools that can help them succeed when they graduate.”
