‘Homeland’ season 6’s episode 11, titled “R is for Romeo,” will follow Carrie and Quinn as they work together and eventually learn of an important discovery. Meanwhile, actress Claire Danes revealed her ideal ending for the series during a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
The short synopsis for “R is for Romeo” posted on TV Guide reads, “Carrie (Claire Danes) and Quinn (Rupert Friend) make a discovery; Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) makes a decision; Max (Maury Sterling) finds trouble at work.”
It seems that Carrie and Quinn will finally come across an important discovery in the upcoming episode. The promo opens to Carrie demanding to know what was going on during a stakeout with Quinn. Quinn then points to a man across the street and declares, “He blew up the van. I have proof.”
While Carrie and Quinn seem to be making progress, Max will find himself in a difficult position when black ops specialist Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) manages to get him into an interrogation room. Dar warns, “You have no idea the sh*t you’ve landed yourself in.” Dar is set to confront Max about a video the latter took in the data center.
Meanwhile, lead actress Claire Danes expressed her ideal ending for her character Carrie during an appearance at ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ hosted by Ellen DeGeneres. According to Refinery29, Danes revealed how she would like ‘Homeland’ to end saying, "I'm always hoping for a little relief for Carrie. It's pretty hard… Lots of crying. There's a lot of reasons to cry."
Danes continued, "I just would like her to play Monopoly with Frannie. One game of Monopoly — benign, easy, chill. That's always my little wish for her is some domestic bliss. I think she deserves that."
According to The Daily Mail, two more seasons of the political drama television series are expected to air in the future. Danes is set to continue playing her role of Carrie Mathison, a former operations officer working for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The character was first introduced in the pilot episode, which aired on October 2016.
‘Homeland’ season 6’s episode 11, titled “R is for Romeo,” is scheduled to air on Showtime on April 2, 2017. It will be followed by episode 12, titled "America First,” directed by Lesli Linka Glatter and scheduled to be released on April 9.
