‘Grimm’ season 6’s episode 3, titled “Oh Captain, My Captain,” is set to feature Nick as he begins his transformation into Renard as part of the plan to stop him. Adalind and Monroe will also help Nick by doing everything to keep the plan intact. The episode also marks David Giuntoli’s directorial debut.
The synopsis for “Oh Captain, My Captain” posted on TV Guide reads, “Adalind (Claire Coffee) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) do everything in their power to see that Nick's (David Giuntoli) clever plan to get under Capt. Renard's (Sasha Roiz) skin goes off beautifully.
Meanwhile, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) are under the gun to get their spell ready on time.”
It seems that Nick will have to devise a plan to take him out of his own element in order to stop the rise of Capt. Renard and his madness. Nick may need to do something drastic and Adalind and Monroe will have to help him keep the plan intact and going off without a hitch.
According to Cartermatt, the incoming episode is set to follow Nick as he becomes his own arch nemesis. The promo teased that Nick will undergo a transformation into a Renard clone. It was revealed that this may be the only way to stop him.
Meanwhile, Eve and Rosalee are set to race against time to get the spell ready. According to Latin Post, Eve will work with Rosalee to concoct a spell, which was used to turn Adalind and Juliette into each other.
‘Grimm’ season 6’s episode 3, titled “Oh Captain, My Captain,” is scheduled to air on NBC on January 20, 2017. It was directed by David Giuntoli and written by Thomas Ian Griffith. It will be followed by "El Cuegle," scheduled for January 27.
The occult police procedural series debuted on NBC on October 2011 and was received with mixed reviews by critics.
