A short promo clip has been released for “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 9 and it featured Owen (Kevin McKidd), Teddy (Kim Raver), and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) trapped inside an elevator. The mid-season finale saw Teddy finally revealing to Owen that she’s carrying his child.
While the revelation has been much-anticipated by fans, audiences are now wondering how the showrunners are going to handle this complicated narrative. On one hand, Teddy is pregnant with Owen’s child. On the other, Amelia is romantically involved with Owen and the neurosurgeon also expressed her desire to become the official foster mom of Beth (Peyton Kennedy). Right now, Amelia still doesn’t know Owen and Teddy’s secret but it’s expected she’ll catch a hint of it in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 9.
After all, Amelia has been portrayed to be quite an observant character. If she does find out this heart-wrenching secret, is she going to leave Owen? That remains to be seen. Amelia is a compassionate person and she may want to put down her romance with Owen in order to not break his budding family. However, there’s also the fact that Teddy has always been the second choice of Owen. Would she be willing to spend her life with a guy who doesn’t prioritize her at all? All these questions will need to be addressed in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 9.
Or at least, provide some clue how the showrunners will handle the complicated situation. In the meantime, DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) are also trapped inside an elevator with their own personal drama unfolding. As for when “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 9, it’s speculated to air sometime around January 2019.
