“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 9 is going to explore more love stories unfolding in the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital with Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) heart taking the spotlight. Mer is currently not in a relationship right now although there are two guys that are quite interested in the head of general surgery.
One of them is Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti). In the previous episode, fans saw that DeLuca got remarkably close in kissing his contemporary but Meredith stopped him. Or stopped herself. “I’m having such a week, I don’t trust my thinking, so I’m going to walk out of here. But I’m going to think about what you said when I’m able to think,” Meredith explained. Suffice to say that audiences were left wanting for more and they couldn’t wait what’s going to happen in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 9.
This is doubly true since Mer and DeLuca got their moment again when the two were trapped in an elevator after a utility pole was felled by the raging windstorm outside the medical facility. Will the two continue on the conversation they had earlier? Fans are hoping that they should. After all, Mer deserves all the happiness in the world given what she’s been through. “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 9 has a lot of potential to propel Mer and DeLuca’s connection to a full-blown romance.
However, there is also Atticus Lincoln, or Link (Chris Carmack), who’s been trying to catch the attention of Meredith for several episodes now. Fans are polarized about a potential Link and Mer relationship given that Lincoln has been portrayed as someone who isn’t particularly bright. Although he’s brilliant at what he does, Link seems to struggle in communicating with his colleagues and getting his point across as has been seen several times. It’s for this reason that Link may be the rebound guy that showrunner Krista Vernoff said in her previous statements. As for when “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 9, ABC has yet to announce anything but it’s speculated to air on January 2019.
