It has become a common sight to see anime shows losing their way in an attempt to try something fresh and new, only to end up completely alienating their original viewers. This is why a lot of fans are worried about how “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 is going to go. Will Orcbolg remain the awesome pest control specialist or will he suddenly become a world hero who draws strength from the “power of friendship”?
For those who are concerned that there will be some major changes to the anime in “Goblin Slayer” Season 2, they can rest assured that this will not be the case. What they got from the first season is also what they will get in the second but with a bit more world-building. This is important since viewers should know more about the world that Orcbolg inhabits to keep things interesting.
As to what fans can expect from “Goblin Slayer” Season 2, there will naturally be plenty of goblin slaying. However, it was inevitable that there would be forces beyond Goblin Slayer’s control to interfere with his relatively simple quests. Scenarios involving gods, demons, and heroes will be included, but thankfully, will not be the main focus of the season.
Overall, “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 will still be as close to what the first season offered viewers regarding themes, visuals, and action. Unfortunately, fans of the show are in for a very long wait. This is because the studio working on the anime has its plate full, at the moment, and likely won’t be able to work on it until 2020.
If so, “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 could be coming out in 2021. Then again, even if this is the case, there are still plenty of other shows for fans to watch just to tide them over. One thing is for sure; Goblin Slayer is coming back.
