Global Geo-political Series: Western leaders’ and media’s deaf ears on Putin may cause great political upheaval

When you talk against the leaders of the western economies, you would immediately be considered as an ally or supporter of Russia or China, even if you are speaking out the truth or saying blunt facts. This hypocrisy of the western media and the leaders may cost a global political upheaval in the coming years, which could even lead to serious confrontation or war.

Five years ago, speaking at the United Nations, then Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi warned the western countries that the attacks on Libya could lead to a migrant crisis in Europe. You can check out the footage here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyVM3JErmnI . Well, he may have been a bad person but what he said about Libya acting as a wall to prevent migrants came true. The European people suffering from the migrant crisis, decades-long political project (European Union) is unraveling, Libya is suffering from civil war and ISIS got formed to threaten the security of the common people globally. Unfortunately, the warnings of Mr. Gaddafi fell to the deaf ears of the western leaders and media hardly covered it.

Similar is happening again. Warnings from Russian President Vladimir Putin are once again falling to deaf ears. At a recent press conference, Mr. Putin said the following,

“We know year by year what’s going to happen, and they know that we know. It’s only you that they tell tall tales to, and you buy it, and spread it to the citizens of your countries. Your people in turn do not feel a sense of the impending danger—this is what worries me.

How do you not understand that the world is being pulled in an irreversible direction? While they pretend that nothing is going on. I don’t know how to get through to you anymore.”

We would like to draw the attention of our readers to the final sentence. When, one of the world’s most powerful countries, armed with nuclear weapons say that they don’t know how to get through to the western leaders and media, we believe it should attract more attention than it currently gets.
