Amal Clooney and George Clooney have been included in yet another false narrative as a gossip outlet is claiming that the two are fighting behind closed doors. The publication contends that the fights are so intense that the couple is planning to go on a custody battle, Radar Online reported.
As proof, the tabloid cites that Amal Clooney and George Clooney have not been photographed for 200 days with their twins. This is apparently an indication that they’re heavily at odds with each other, with the root of the fighting allegedly stemming from the differing lifestyles of the pair.
“George [Clooney] and Amal [Clooney] have been arguing over their varying lifestyles — and rumors of a rift have been going around for months. She’s all business, he’s all play. They’re like oil and water. They don’t mix — and there’s talk of a possible custody fight over the twins,” an insider supposedly told the outlet.
But given that Radar Online is peddling this narrative, it’s best to take their word with a grain of salt. This isn’t the first time that the tabloid has published a phony narrative involving George Clooney. Last August, the outlet contends that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were having a tryst at Clooney’s house in Italy. That narrative has long been proven as false and this story about George and Amal Clooney supposedly fighting will likely fall in the fiction category as well.
There are pieces of evidence that would debunk this claim. One of them is the photographs that surfaced last month showing that Amal Clooney and George Clooney are in love as ever. Sure, the twins may not be present but given that they attended a United Nations event, it’s hardly a setting where the pair could bring their kids.
As for the claim of Radar Online (via Celebrity Insider) that Amal Clooney took the twins to an unnamed island without her husband, that is a false claim as well. Gossip Cop has already reached out to the reps of the couple and was told that both claims of the publication are “made up.” What’s true at the moment is that Amal and George Clooney are trying their best to maintain a private life to shield the twins from gossip publications.
