The never-ending rumors surrounding the marriage of George and Amal Clooney never stop even when the world is afflicted with the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, reports have it that divorce trouble is looming for the two with the 59-year-old actor reportedly missing his Hollywood home. It is said that he wants to relocate his family there.

However, Amal, a 42-year-old human rights lawyer, is hearing none of it and not even a two-story playhouse that George had built, designed by the designer of no less than President Barack Obama, could convince her.

Life & Style magazine, on its June 1, 2020, issue, wrote that the two have been arguing a lot because George now wants to change their plans of where to live and raise their two-year-old twins—Ella and Alexander.

A source told Life & Style that George and Amal had previously planned to live and raise their children in England. They had also planned of having them study in a British school.

However, George now wants to relocate them to his Hollywood home in Studio City, where he has been said to have already spent a million turning his bachelor pad into a home that is family-friendly.

George is usually doing and getting what he wants, and that is not sitting well with Amal.

Life & Style's source added that Amal is not fond of Los Angeles because she finds many people there as fake.

But, George’s efforts would not have been a lost cause as Amal was actually considering the move, the source said. She catapulted back to staying put in England when George told their friends that they were relocating to Hollywood as if the issue is settled.

Amal reportedly fumed and told George that he could go and live in Hollywood, but she and the children will be staying in England.

And, there seems to be no compromise in sight.

The couple got married in a civil ceremony in September of 2014 in Venice, Italy. They had their twins in 2017.

According to the source, if they cannot work this out, they might be discussing divorce next. Although George cannot imagine his life without Amal, the source added.

Neither George and Amal have spoken out about all these rumors. One drawback of being famous personalities is that stories about them see print even when they are unverified and classified as rumors. Thus, fans of the Clooney couple should not be bothered unless they themselves come out and say they are getting a divorce.
