Many fans are still hoping to see “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 back on TV even after almost three years of hiatus. The anime only released one season so far so there are viewers who didn’t think it will be canceled already.
Renewal vs. cancellation - What the fans think
“Classroom of the Elite” season 2 is still waiting for its renewal order. However, no such news is being reported even after all these years.
There are people who think that it will still make its comeback since Lerche Studios did not cancel the show yet. If it did, there would have been an announcement a long time ago. The studio is still quiet about “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 so there is no way to confirm if it will be in production or it is actually being made already.
Thus, it is unfortunate to say that there is no guarantee that it will still make a comeback. Lerche Studios, the TV adaptation producer, also disappointed many viewers of the anime because it has remained mum about the future of this Japanese animation.
TV Season & Spoilers stated that Lerche cannot just ax “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 because it was so popular when it was released. This means that they can still make big profits out of it so it is a waste to discard this promising anime.
Then again, others are convinced that “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 is not coming anymore because the first season already served its purpose. In a thread on Facebook, there were people who asked when the second installment is arriving and some replied that it will not anymore.
They explained that season 1 was only created to serve as a promotional series to boost the audience of the show’s novel series’ counterpart. And now that it succeeded with the scheme, “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 will not be produced anymore.
Release date
Then again, despite this reasoning, many have not given up on “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 yet. They said that the publisher should at least conclude the story so it can leave with a proper ending. In case Lerche will release this anime, it is predicted to arrive in 2021.
