“Grand Theft Auto” is undeniably one of the most popular video game franchises worldwide. This means that even if Rockstar Games has not said anything about the next main series installment, fans will keep on speculating about the release date, gameplay, and plot of “GTA 6.”

While the game is famous for letting is players shoot big guns and drive high-performance vehicles across fictional cities inspired by real ones, avid fans have also been inclined to follow the plots introduced in every numbered installment. Much like everything else about “GTA 6,” Rockstar has also been quiet about the stories and protagonists the next game would introduce.

Some of the earliest rumors about the game suggest that it would once again mainly feature Vice City while also allowing players to travel between different continents. This is a good chance for Rockstar to flesh out the next game’s plot and allow players to contribute in the way Vice City would develop into the modern city that they witnessed in previous titles.

Having a longer timeline for the “GTA 6” plot would also make the theory of getting multiple protagonists even more possible. Fans may recall a recent information leak claiming there could be at least four protagonists included in the next game’s storyline. The same source said “GTA 6” would also feature a massive gameplay map that is as big as the maps of “GTA V” and “Red Dead Redemption 2” combined.
