Most of the presentations for “Forza Horizon 5” in previous months have highlighted the game’s visuals and its vast map. And with less than two months left before its launch, it is only fitting that the developers have finally unveiled the game’s official car list.
Developer Playground Games released a blog post earlier this week to officially unveil the “Forza Horizon 5” car list. The initial lineup consists of 426 cars, and the list is confirmed to get longer before the game is released.
“Stay tuned, because this isn’t the final list for launch date,” the Forza Horizon 5 developer wrote. “We’ll be expanding it with even more cars and manufacturers in the weeks leading up to Nov. 9.”
That means gaming fans eager to play “Forza Horizon 5” should check the linked blog post now and then to see what cars will be added before the launch. The game is also certainly getting post-launch content and updates that are most likely going to feature even more cars.
Playground Games also confirmed that, in terms of featured cars, it will use a similar approach in “Forza Horizon 4” through the Festival Playlist. The developer confirmed that part of the post-launch additions will be new-to-franchise vehicles and classics or fan-favorite cars that were featured in the Festival Playlist. Garage expansion and new cars will remain the top rewards for “Forza Horizon 5” players who will complete seasonal in-game activities.
With more than 400 cars confirmed for “Forza Horizon 5,” they are literally too many to mention here. But at a glance, several car models should stand out to any long-time “Forza” fans and car enthusiasts. The list is a good mix of classic and modern vehicles from a very wide array of manufacturers, including Aston Martin, Audi, Ferrari, Honda, Jeep, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren, Nissan, Porsche, and more.
Playground Games also announced several cars that have not been featured in any previous titles but will debut in “Forza Horizon 5.” The list includes the 2020 Ford Super Duty F-450 DRW Premium, the 1991 Jaguar Sport XJR-15, the all-electric 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S, Mercedes-AMG ONE, and the 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands.
Luckily, “Forza Horizon 5” will be a cross-gen title to be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game will also launch on PC and will be added to Xbox Game Pass at launch.
