Epic Games Store just announced on Dec. 31 that a new batch of free games is coming for all gamers to enjoy. These will be the final batch of the free games that the publisher is releasing for its fans.
Free game announcement
Epic Games made the announcement via social media, and many are already excited about this.
The American video game and software developer and publisher also stated that they hope the gamers can enjoy their gifts.
“We were so preoccupied with whether or not we could give away 15 games in 15 days,” the company wrote on Facebook. “We didn’t stop to think if we should… but we hope you’ve enjoyed your gifts!”
As stated, Epic Games will be releasing 15 games in 15 days, and for day 1, which is Jan. 1, the free game was revealed to be the “Jurassic World Evolution.” This is available for download until Jan. 7.
Apparently, “Jurassic World Evolution” is based on the popular 2015 movie “Jurassic Park.” The game title was first released in 2018, and it allows gamers to build their own dinosaur theme park. Gamers can also produce their own species of the massive reptiles that are extinct now.
The publisher has been giving out games for free since Dec. 17 through the Epic Game Store. Now, as the first game in the final batch has been unlocked, what could be the other 14 games to look forward to?
Games to watch out for
The next 14 titles are not yet available, but Express reported that some of them were already leaked and have been circulating online. The publication mentioned the RPG game “Solitairica” as the next free game to be released by Epic Games. Also, the other possible titles include “Torchlight II.”
Furthermore, aside from the free games, Epic Games is also offering coupons. As per the publisher’s post, the free coupon will be available in the coming weeks. “Claim your first $10 Epic Coupon right now by signing in to your Epic Games account and clicking the “GET MY EPIC COUPON,” the message reads.
Meanwhile, watch out for more free games as these will be unveiled until Jan. 15.
