Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi have married for more than 11 years, and their relationship is going strong despite the frequent divorce rumors. There are many reports that say the couple is breaking up, and one time, it was even said that the two are not living together as “The Ellen Show” host has moved out and lived in a “bachelor” pad.
How their marriage was saved
New Idea reported that actually, the two were really at the breaking point last year, but their marriage was saved, and they are turning in a positive direction. The publication wrote that DeGeneres and De Rossi had given their marriage another chance, and after finding a new wind, the spark in their relationship has returned.
“They look and act like they’re back in sync,” a source said. “It’s like they’ve fallen in love all over again. This time last year, they were fighting really hard and now there’s hope for them.”
Moreover, after sorting out the issues between them, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi made a promise so they will not fight anymore. They have also become less strict with what they want from each other so that the two of them would be happy and at the same time, can do things that they love.
“Now they’ve made a firm decision to just let go of the bad vibes and made a pact to sleep in the same house, in the same bed, and stop living such separate lives,” the insider further revealed to the magazine. “No more jealousy and bickering and instead, more date nights and weekend retreats, just the two of them.”

Based on the report, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi’s marriage started to crack when the two of them agreed that the former would lessen her workload so they could have more time together and be able to move to Portia’s native country. But then, the popular TV personality extended her contract with her talk show, and this supposedly infuriated the former model.

Finally, while the couple is working to keep their marriage intact, In Touch Weekly reported that Ellen and Portia are living a secret life, and it is quite a bizarre one. The magazine claimed that the two had created their own world, and they exhibit a very different attitude and personalities when they are alone.
“They put on different personas for different occasions and groups of people,” an insider alleged. “They live in a bizarre world and have created their own little universe of weird habits bouts of paranoia and extreme beauty treatments where they even hired a live-in health adviser.”
