“Designated Survivor” season 4 is expected to follow after its successful comeback via season 3. The show was canceled on ABC and was saved by Netflix to continue the story of Tom Kirkman, the assigned president of the United States.
The third season dropped on Netflix two weeks ago, so fans are already asking about “Designated Survivor” season 4. Will be renewed for another run? Although the streaming site has not announced anything about this yet, the show is likely to continue for more seasons since there are many viewers who want it.
According to What’s On Netflix, “Designated Survivor” season 4 might be confirmed in July since that would be a month after the third installment was released. By then, they would have determined how the show fared, and high ratings and good feedback are the tickets for the official renewal announcement to happen.
In case, “Designated Survivor” season 4 is approved by Netflix, Kiefer Sutherland will return for more exciting episodes that will surely offer plot twists and mysteries to solve within the Oval office. Of course, new scandals, both personal and political, will also arise and add spice to President Tom Kirkman’s ruling.
People are also going to jail in “Designated Survivor” season 4 for their misdeeds shown in the last season’s story. Lorraine will be imprisoned for playing a part in the hacking scandal while Emily is also in trouble. In any case, film critic and host that has the handle name of LightsCameraJackson on Twitter reviewed the show, and he only had good things to say.
“Finally watched all 10 episodes of #DesignatedSurvivor Season 3,” he wrote. “The stories get juicier as they go along. Several new characters sizzle, and this show continues to be great fun.”He also thanked Netflix for saving and bringing back the show.
“Designated Survivor” season 4, if renewed, is likely to return on June 2020. In the meantime, fans can stream seasons 1 to 3 on Netflix.
